Anti Roll Bar Bushes with Fitting Position Front Axle for HOLDEN CAPRICE VR, VS

VR, VS CAPRICE Anti roll bushes are the polyurethane bush kits used to replace worn rubber bushes at the anti roll chassis mount positions and anti roll link pivot positions. The anti roll, also called an anti-roll bar, connects the left and right sides of the suspension to resist body roll during cornering, and the mount bushes at the chassis bracket positions are the primary means by which the bar is located and through which its torsional loads are transferred to the chassis. Worn anti roll mount bushes allow the bar to shift and knock in its brackets, reducing its effectiveness and introducing metallic clunking and increased body roll that worsens progressively.

At the anti roll link end, worn link bushes allow play to develop between the link and the bar or the control arm, contributing to knocking under suspension travel and reduced anti roll response. Quality VR, VS CAPRICE polyurethane replacement anti roll mount and link bush kits restore correct bar location and link pivot compliance, eliminating mount noise and improving anti roll effectiveness and handling balance across all driving conditions. The range covers front and rear anti roll mount positions, front and rear anti roll link upper and lower positions, anti roll to control arm positions, and a comprehensive range of universal mount bush kits in dimensionally specified sizes. Installation time is approximately one hour per kit. All products are backed by a lifetime warranty.

Why Upgrade VR, VS CAPRICE Suspension?

Anti roll mount and link bushes are among the most frequently worn and replaced suspension bushes on any vehicle, yet they are also among the most overlooked until failure is obvious. Factory rubber anti roll mount bushes compress and harden over time, losing their grip on the bar and allowing it to move within the bracket. The early signs, including a faint knocking or tapping from the front or rear suspension over small bumps, are often normalised before the underlying cause is addressed.

Replacing worn anti roll bushes with correctly sized polyurethane alternatives restores the correct interference fit between the bush and the bar, securing the bar within its bracket and eliminating mount noise immediately. VR, VS CAPRICE Polyurethane anti roll bushes also grip the bar more consistently than rubber under torsional load, delivering more immediate and precise anti roll response that directly improves cornering balance and body roll control.

Why Purchase VR, VS CAPRICE Anti roll Bushes?

Worn anti roll mount and link bushes are the most common cause of the suspension knocking and clunking that workshops encounter on everyday vehicles, yet the repair is straightforward and the result is immediate. Renewing worn bushes with correctly sized polyurethane alternatives eliminates mount noise, restores correct bar location and link compliance, and returns the anti roll to full effectiveness in a single short service.

For workshops, anti roll bush replacement is a high-frequency, high-impact service that delivers a noticeable and immediate improvement in NVH and handling character with minimal labour time. For VR, VS CAPRICE owners, a correctly specified polyurethane anti roll bush kit ensures the bar is properly gripped throughout its service life, maintaining consistent cornering balance and roll control for longer than factory rubber alternatives.

Installation and Support

VR, VS CAPRICE Anti roll bush kits are designed for accurate installation at the front and rear anti roll chassis bracket and link pivot positions. Installation time is approximately one hour per kit. The correct mount bush diameter must be matched to the anti roll diameter for the specific vehicle and application. Universal mount bush kits are available in a range of diameters to accommodate non-vehicle-specific fitments. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to help ensure correct product selection and sizing for the specific application.

Repair and Upgrade

VR, VS CAPRICE Anti roll bushes are manufactured from high-strength polyurethane engineered to withstand the torsional load, vibration and environmental exposure that anti roll mount and link positions are subject to in everyday and demanding use. Resistant to oil, heat and road contaminants, polyurethane anti roll bushes grip the bar more consistently and maintain their compliance characteristics for longer than factory rubber alternatives, delivering more consistent anti roll response and reduced mount noise throughout their service life. All products are backed by a lifetime warranty.
