Alignment Pins and Bushings with Fitting Position Front, Rear for 2010 Lexus IS350 C

Nolathane alignment bushings correct your Lexus IS350's wheel alignment at the source: the pivot where a suspension arm meets the frame or axle. Caster bushings and offset bushings move that pivot point a set distance inside the existing bore, which restores the caster or camber lost after a lift, a leveling kit, or a lowered ride height. The result is steering that returns to center, tracks straight, and wears tires evenly.

This range of alignment pins and bushings covers caster offset radius arm bushings, camber and caster adjustable control arm bushings, and toe arm bushings for rear multi-link suspension. Each listing shows the suspension position, the offset direction, and whether it fits your Lexus IS350.

Correcting Lexus IS350 Geometry at the Arm Pivot

Every suspension arm swings around a fixed pivot, and the location of that pivot decides the angle of the wheel. Move the pivot and the wheel angle moves with it.

A standard bushing holds its center sleeve in the middle of the bushing. An offset inner bushing, sometimes called an eccentric bushing, places the sleeve off-center, so the arm mounts slightly forward, rearward, inward, or outward of its factory position. The bushing still fits the original bore in the arm and uses the original mounting bolt, so there is no cutting, welding, or drilling involved.

On a radius arm, shifting the pivot rotates the axle and changes caster. On a lower control arm, shifting the inner pivot pushes the base of the wheel toward or away from the frame, which changes camber, and shifting it fore or aft changes caster. Because the correction is built into the bushing, it can?t slip out of adjustment the way a loose fastener can.

Types of Lexus IS350 Alignment Bushings

Alignment bushings fall into three groups, and each one solves a different problem.

Caster Offset Radius Arm Bushings

Solid front axle trucks often locate the axle with radius arms that run back to the frame. When the truck is lifted, the arms tilt and the axle rotates, which reduces caster. Caster offset bushings move the radius arm?s pivot to rotate the axle back toward its correct caster angle, without replacing the arms.

Camber and Caster Adjustable Control Arm Bushings

On independent suspension, the lower control arm inner pivot is a natural place to correct both angles together. These bushings let an alignment technician set camber and caster at the same mount, which suits leveled pickups, lowered cars, and vehicles that sit outside specification after years of wear.

Toe Arm Bushings

Rear multi-link suspension uses toe arms to hold the rear wheels pointing straight ahead. Toe arm bushings firm up this link so the rear toe setting stays steady under acceleration, braking, and cornering, which keeps the rear of your Lexus IS350 settled and tracking true.

Caster Loss After a Lexus IS350 Lift

Lifting a radius arm truck raises the frame while the axle stays on the ground. The radius arms tilt downward, and because they are fixed to the axle, the axle rotates with them. That rotation stands the steering axis more upright, so caster drops, and on bigger lifts it can approach negative caster.

Low caster shows up quickly on the road:

• Light, vague steering at highway speeds
• Front end wander that needs constant small corrections
• Poor steering return to center after a turn
• Instability over bumps, crosswinds, or passing trucks
• A nervous feel when towing or carrying a load

Caster bushings are one of the simplest ways to win back some of that lost angle on a lifted 4x4. They don?t replace the alignment, but they give the technician enough correction to bring caster back into a sensible range.

Worn Lexus IS350 Bushings and Alignment Problems

Bad control arm bushings can cause alignment problems, and they are one of the most common reasons an alignment won?t hold.

A healthy bushing keeps the arm in one place. Once rubber softens, cracks, or splits, the arm moves inside its mount every time you brake, accelerate, or turn. Camber and toe shift with it, so the wheel angles on the road no longer match the numbers on the alignment printout.

Typical signs include a pull under braking, wander on uneven pavement, clunks over bumps, and feathered or edge-worn tires that return soon after a fresh alignment. Replacing worn bushings before the alignment is the only way to make that alignment last, and installing offset polyurethane bushings at the same time corrects the angle and removes the play in one job.

Choosing Alignment Bushings for Your Lexus IS350

The right alignment bushing depends on where it installs, how much correction you need, and which way the offset has to face. Each listing shows the position, the offset type, and the fitment, so check these points before ordering.

Suspension Position

Match the bushing to the arm that needs correcting: radius arm for caster on solid front axle trucks, lower control arm for camber and caster on independent suspension, or toe arm for rear multi-link setups. A bushing designed for one position won?t do the job of another.

Correction Needed

Start with a current alignment printout and the lift or lowering height. A small shortfall in caster or camber is a good match for an offset bushing. If the readings are far outside specification, look for a bent part or consider a larger correction method.

Offset Orientation and Fitment

Offset bushings only work when they face the right way. Orientation marks on the bushing show which direction moves the pivot, and installing them backward makes the alignment worse instead of better. Confirm the direction for your goal, more caster or more negative camber, before pressing them in.

Street Performance and Lowered Lexus IS350 Builds

Dropping a car closer to the road tilts the tops of the wheels inward, and spirited street driving rewards precise caster and camber. Offset control arm bushings let a lowered or performance street car bring its angles back into a range that suits the tires, while the firmer polyurethane gives sharper turn-in and a more connected feel.

Installing Offset Bushings on Your Lexus IS350

Because these bushings locate the wheel, the job is best left to an experienced technician with a press and access to an alignment rack. The general sequence looks like this:

1. Support the vehicle safely on jack stands and remove the arm, or press the old bushing out with the correct tooling.
2. Clean the bore and remove any corrosion or leftover rubber.
3. Press the new bushing in with the offset facing the marked direction for the correction required.
4. Grease the center sleeve and contact faces with the supplied grease so the arm pivots freely.
5. Reinstall the arm and snug the bolts, leaving final torque until the vehicle sits at normal ride height.
6. Torque the pivot bolts to the manufacturer?s specification at ride height.
7. Have a professional wheel alignment carried out on an alignment rack, then road test your Lexus IS350.

Tightening pivot bolts with the suspension hanging is the most common installation mistake, because it preloads the bushing and shortens its life. A second torque check once the bushings have bedded in is cheap insurance.

Lexus IS350 Alignment Bushing Limitations and Trade-Offs

Offset bushings are an effective, affordable fix, but they have limits:

• The correction range is fixed or limited by the size of the offset
• They can?t fix bent arms, worn ball joints, or a twisted axle housing
• Tall lifts often outgrow what a bushing can correct and call for relocation brackets or longer, adjustable radius arms
• Polyurethane can squeak if it isn?t greased properly, and it transmits slightly more road feel than soft rubber
• Correcting caster by rotating the axle can change pinion angle on some setups, which may affect driveline vibration

Being clear about these limits up front helps you choose the right correction method from the start.

Compliance and Insurance

Each state sets its own rules on suspension height and vehicle inspections, and some states have no inspection at all. After correcting a lifted or lowered vehicle, check that it still meets the rules where it?s registered, and let your insurer know the suspension has been modified.

Warranty and Support

Every Nolathane alignment bushing carries a lifetime warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for as long as it stays on the vehicle it was first installed on. If you?re unsure which offset direction or suspension position you need, our local support team will talk you through it, whether the job is a worn-out arm or a truck that lost its caster in a lift.
