Coil Spring Spacers with Fitting Position Front, Rear for 2000 Honda Civic EX-R

Honda Civic Coil spring spacers are the platform-specific kits used to introduce a controlled ride height increase at the front or rear coil spring seat position without replacing the coil spring itself. By adding a precisely dimensioned spacer or lift isolator between the spring end and the seat surface, the spring assembly is effectively lengthened in its installed position, raising the suspension and increasing ground clearance and wheel arch gap at the applicable axle. Coil spring spacers are used across a wide range of applications: correcting factory nose-down rake on trucks and SUVs, leveling the front end after accessories such as winches and bumpers add front weight, completing a mild lift on 4WD and off-road platforms, and restoring ride height lost to spring sag on older vehicles.

The range covers front and rear spring pad isolators with small lift increments, front coil spring spacer and lift isolator kits in a range of lift heights for RWD and 4WD platforms, a front upper lift isolator for applicable 4WD platforms, front and rear leveling kits, rear lower spring pad spacer sets, and a spring pad bushing with a 1 inch lift for applicable platforms. Warranties range from limited lifetime to 3 years. Installation guides are available across most spacer kit products.

Why Upgrade Honda Civic Suspension?

Factory suspension geometry on trucks, SUVs and body-on-frame 4WDs is typically tuned for a loaded condition, producing a nose-down rake at the front when operated unloaded. This reduces front clearance, limits tire fitment options, and places the vehicle's weight distribution forward of where it would sit with a level stance. On platforms that carry added front weight from accessories, the nose-down condition is further exaggerated. A coil spring spacer or leveling kit at the front corrects this by raising the front spring seat to bring the front ride height up to match the rear, restoring a level stance and the clearance needed for larger tires.

For 4WD and off-road builds, Honda Civic coil spring spacers provide a cost-effective first step toward increased ground clearance, raising the suspension at the coil spring seat without requiring new springs, strut replacements or geometry correction hardware. The correct spacer height must be matched to the platform and the intended lift to ensure the spacer does not overdrive the available suspension travel range at the applicable axle.

Honda Civic Coil Spring Spacer Range

The Honda Civic coil spring spacer range includes:

• Honda Civic Front Coil Spring Isolator Kits and Sets: Platform-specific front coil spring isolator kits and sets at standard and mildly lifted heights for applicable RWD and passenger platforms.
• Honda Civic Front Upper and Lower Coil Spring Isolators: Combined upper and lower front coil spring isolator sets for applicable platforms requiring renewal at both spring seat positions.
• Honda Civic Front Coil Spring Spacer Kits, RWD: Front coil spring spacer kits in a range of lift heights for applicable RWD platforms, installing at the front spring seat to raise front ride height without replacing the coil spring.
• Honda Civic Front Coil Spring Spacer Kits, 4WD: Front coil spring spacer kits in a range of lift heights for applicable 4WD platforms requiring front lift at the coil spring seat position.
• Honda Civic Front Coil Spring Lift Isolator Sets: Platform-specific front coil spring lift isolator sets providing a controlled front ride height increase on applicable RWD platforms.
• Honda Civic Front Coil Spring Upper Lift Isolators: Front upper coil spring isolators providing a controlled lift increment at the upper spring seat position on applicable 4WD platforms.
• Honda Civic Front Leveling Kits: Front coil spring leveling kits providing a controlled front ride height increase on applicable truck and SUV platforms to correct factory nose-down rake.
• Honda Civic Rear Leveling Kits: Rear coil spring leveling kits providing a controlled rear ride height increase on applicable platforms where rear leveling is required as a standalone correction.
• Honda Civic Rear Lower Spring Pad Spacer Sets: Rear lower spring pad spacer sets providing a controlled rear ride height increase at the lower spring seat position on applicable platforms.
• Honda Civic Spring Pad Bushing With Lift: A spring pad bushing providing a controlled ride height increase at the applicable spring seat position on applicable platforms.
• Honda Civic Universal Spring Pad Isolators: Dimensionally specified spring pad isolators in OD, ID and length specifications for non-platform-specific coil spring spacer applications where the seat dimensions match the available specification.
• Honda Civic Coil Spring Spacer, 4WD: A coil spring spacer for the applicable 4WD platform requiring front lift at the coil spring seat position.

Why Purchase Honda Civic Coil Spring Spacers?

A Honda Civic coil spring spacer or leveling kit is the most accessible and cost-effective method of raising ride height on applicable coil spring platforms, requiring no spring replacement, strut disassembly or geometry correction hardware for mild lift applications. The spacer installs at the spring seat and raises the spring assembly in its installed position, delivering the intended lift height without altering spring rate or shock absorber travel beyond the amount consumed by the spacer thickness.

For truck and SUV owners correcting factory rake, a Honda Civic leveling kit that raises the front to match the rear delivers an improved stance and increased tire clearance in a single low-cost installation. For 4WD owners completing a mild lift, coil spring spacers in the appropriate height for the platform deliver increased ground clearance at a significantly lower cost than a full spring replacement and with a shorter installation time.

Installation and Support

Honda Civic Coil spring spacer kits are designed for installation at the front or rear coil spring seat position on applicable platforms. Installation times range from under an hour for simple pad and isolator kits to three hours for upper strut spacer installations requiring full strut disassembly. The correct spacer height must be matched to the platform and intended lift. Installation guides are available across most spacer kit products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection and lift height for the specific platform and suspension configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Honda Civic Coil spring spacers are manufactured from high-strength polyurethane and quality materials engineered to withstand the sustained compressive load, road shock and environmental exposure that coil spring seat positions are subject to at the lifted ride height throughout the vehicle's service life. The spacer design maintains consistent height under sustained compression, ensuring the intended lift is retained across the full range of driving conditions. Warranties range from limited lifetime to 3 years depending on the product.

Who Honda Civic Coil Spring Spacers Are For

Honda Civic Coil spring spacers are a practical solution for:

• Truck and SUV owners on applicable platforms requiring a front leveling kit to correct factory nose-down rake, achieve a level stance and create clearance for larger tires without replacing springs or altering the rear suspension.
• 4WD owners completing a mild front or rear lift on applicable platforms who want to raise ride height at the coil spring seat without the cost or complexity of a full spring replacement.
• Applicable RWD performance and passenger car owners requiring front coil spring spacer kits at the applicable lift height to raise front ride height or correct spring sag on older vehicles.
• Anyone requiring a spring pad isolator with a small lift increment on an applicable platform where the seat dimensions match the available platform-specific or universal dimensionally specified product.

The right coil spring spacer kit raises the suspension to the correct height at the applicable spring seat position, delivers improved stance and clearance for the intended application, and maintains that lift consistently under sustained load and driving conditions.
