NOLATHANE, REVOLUTION Lateral Arm Bushings with Fitting Position Front and Rear, Rear

Lateral arm bushings are the polyurethane bushing kits used to replace worn rubber bushings at the inner and outer mounting positions of the rear lateral arm on applicable platforms. On rear suspension systems that use a dedicated lateral arm to control rear axle side-to-side movement, the inner bushing at the chassis mounting position and the outer bushing at the axle housing mounting position together define how precisely the rear axle is located laterally under cornering, acceleration and braking loads. The condition of both bushings directly affects rear axle tracking consistency, cornering stability and NVH.

The lateral arm bushings range currently covers the rear compensator arm inner and outer bushing set for applicable RWD performance platforms. The compensator arm on these platforms is the rear lateral locating link that prevents the axle from moving side to side under cornering load. As both inner and outer bushings wear, lateral axle compliance increases, contributing to rear end instability, imprecise cornering behavior and the characteristic looseness under lateral load that progressive wear at both positions introduces. Renewing both positions simultaneously in a single kit ensures complete lateral arm compliance is restored in one service. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

On applicable RWD performance platforms that use a compensator arm as the primary rear lateral locating device, the inner and outer bushing condition at both arm ends is the main determinant of how precisely the rear axle is held in its lateral position under dynamic load. Worn bushings at either end allow the axle to move laterally during cornering, reducing rear end predictability and contributing to the loose, imprecise rear end character that appears as inner and outer compensator arm bushings deteriorate together.

Because both positions wear in parallel under the same lateral loads, renewing them simultaneously ensures the arm operates with correct compliance at both interfaces from the same service. Replacing only one position while leaving the other worn results in a partial repair that does not fully restore correct lateral axle location.

Lateral Arm Bushing Range

The lateral arm bushing range includes:

• Rear Compensator Arm Inner and Outer Bushing Sets: Combined polyurethane bushing sets supplying both the inner chassis mount and outer axle housing mount bushings for the rear compensator arm in a single purchase, restoring complete lateral arm compliance on applicable RWD performance platforms.

Why Purchase Lateral Arm Bushings?

Renewing both the inner and outer compensator arm bushing positions together is the correct approach to a complete lateral arm service, ensuring the full lateral load path through the arm is restored to the correct compliance specification at both interfaces simultaneously. A combined inner and outer kit eliminates the need for two separate purchases and ensures the installation is completed to a consistent standard at both positions in a single three hour service.

For shops and experienced DIY users servicing applicable RWD performance platforms, compensator arm bushing renewal is a straightforward and high-impact rear suspension service that directly addresses a primary source of rear axle lateral compliance and rear end instability.

Compatible Vehicles

Lateral arm bushings are compatible with:

• Applicable RWD performance vehicles on applicable platforms equipped with a rear compensator arm lateral locating link requiring simultaneous inner chassis mount and outer axle housing mount bushing renewal to restore correct rear axle lateral location and cornering stability.

Installation and Support

The rear compensator arm inner and outer bushing set is designed for installation at both the inner chassis and outer axle housing mount positions of the rear compensator arm in a single service. Installation time is approximately three hours. An installation guide is included with the product. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product fitment for the specific platform and compensator arm configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Lateral arm bushings are manufactured from high-strength polyurethane engineered to withstand the sustained lateral load, road shock and environmental exposure that rear compensator arm inner and outer mount positions are subject to in everyday and performance driving. Polyurethane maintains correct lateral arm compliance for longer than factory rubber alternatives under the cornering and handling loads that RWD performance platforms generate, delivering more consistent rear axle lateral location and cornering stability throughout the service life of the installation. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who Lateral Arm Bushings Are For

Lateral arm bushings are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing rear suspension overhauls and performance servicing on applicable RWD platforms requiring simultaneous inner and outer compensator arm bushing renewal to restore correct rear axle lateral location and eliminate the rear end instability that worn bushing compliance at both positions produces.
• Performance and enthusiast vehicle owners renewing compensator arm bushings on applicable RWD platforms to restore precise, stable and predictable rear end behavior under cornering and lateral load.

The right lateral arm bushing kit restores correct lateral arm compliance at both the inner and outer mount positions simultaneously, eliminates rear axle lateral movement under load, and delivers a more stable, precise and confident rear suspension character through every corner.
