NOLATHANE Leaf Spring Pads with Fitting Position Rear for 0

Leaf spring pads are the polyurethane pad and bushing kits used to replace worn or deteriorated isolator components at the spring-to-axle interface on rear leaf spring suspension platforms. At the center of every leaf spring assembly, the spring pack contacts the axle housing or axle perch saddle at a pad or bushing that isolates the spring from direct metal contact with the axle surface and cushions the spring pack against the hard surface of the axle perch under load. Without a correctly functioning pad at this interface, the spring contacts the axle perch directly, transmitting road inputs and spring-under-load noise directly into the axle and chassis and accelerating wear at both the spring pack and the axle perch surface.

The leaf spring pads range covers spring-to-saddle bushing kits for the spring-to-axle perch saddle position and rear leaf spring pad kits in mono leaf and multi leaf configurations, covering the two most common rear leaf spring pack types found across applicable trucks, SUVs and 4WD platforms. All products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

The spring-to-axle interface pad on a leaf spring platform operates under the full compressive load of every road input, towing event and braking and acceleration cycle throughout the vehicle's service life. Factory pads and isolators at this position deteriorate through sustained compression, heat cycling and exposure to road contamination, thinning and hardening until they can no longer provide the correct cushioning and isolation between the spring and the axle perch. The result is increased harshness from the rear suspension, spring squeak and contact noise under load, and accelerated wear at the perch surface that compounds with continued use.

Renewing the spring-to-axle pad with a correctly specified polyurethane replacement restores the correct cushioning and isolation at the spring-to-perch interface, eliminating contact noise, reducing transmitted harshness and protecting the axle perch surface from the direct spring contact that a deteriorated or absent pad allows.

Leaf Spring Pad Range

The leaf spring pad range includes:

• Spring to Saddle Bushing Kits: Polyurethane bushing kits for the spring-to-axle saddle mount position, providing the correct compliant and isolating interface between the leaf spring pack and the axle perch saddle on applicable rear leaf spring platforms.
• Rear Leaf Spring Pads, Mono Leaf: Polyurethane pad kits for the spring-to-axle contact interface on applicable platforms fitted with a mono leaf rear spring pack, providing correct cushioning and isolation at the axle perch surface.
• Rear Leaf Spring Pads, Multi Leaf: Polyurethane pad kits for the spring-to-axle contact interface on applicable platforms fitted with a multi leaf rear spring pack, providing correct cushioning and isolation between the spring pack and the axle perch.
• Spring to Saddle Insulator Bushing, Multi Leaf: Polyurethane insulator bushing kits for the spring-to-saddle interface position on applicable multi leaf rear spring platforms, combining the correct insulating and cushioning characteristics for the saddle interface on this spring pack configuration.

Why Purchase Leaf Spring Pads?

Leaf spring pads are among the lowest-cost components in the rear leaf spring assembly yet they directly affect the harshness, noise and wear characteristics of the entire spring-to-axle interface. Renewing them at the point of deterioration restores correct spring-to-axle isolation immediately, eliminates contact noise and harshness, and protects the axle perch surface from accelerated wear without requiring any spring pack or axle service beyond access to the spring center bolt and U-bolt positions.

For shops completing rear spring U-bolt replacements, spring pack servicing or axle work on applicable platforms, including the correct spring pad as part of the service ensures the spring-to-axle interface is correctly supported and isolated from the moment the assembly is reassembled. Selecting the correct pad requires matching the spring pack configuration to the appropriate mono leaf or multi leaf variant.

Installation and Support

Leaf spring pad kits install at the spring-to-axle perch interface position during spring pack or axle perch servicing. Rear leaf spring pads install with zero dedicated labor time as part of a spring or U-bolt service. The spring-to-saddle bushing kit installs in approximately one and a half hours. The correct product must be matched to the spring pack configuration of the specific vehicle, selecting the mono leaf or multi leaf variant as appropriate. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection for the specific platform and spring pack configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Leaf spring pads are manufactured from polyurethane and quality elastomeric materials engineered to withstand the sustained compressive load, heat cycling and environmental exposure that the spring-to-axle perch interface is subject to under towing, hauling and off-road conditions. Polyurethane maintains correct pad thickness and cushioning characteristics for longer than factory rubber and fibre pad alternatives, delivering more consistent spring-to-axle isolation and reduced contact noise throughout the service life of the installation. All products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who Leaf Spring Pads Are For

Leaf spring pads are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing rear spring servicing, U-bolt replacements and axle work on applicable leaf spring platforms requiring spring-to-axle pad renewal to ensure the spring assembly is correctly isolated and cushioned at the perch interface from the moment the service is completed.
• Truck and 4WD owners experiencing rear suspension harshness, spring contact noise or squeak under load attributable to worn or deteriorated spring-to-axle pads or saddle bushings at the center spring-to-perch interface position.
• Anyone rebuilding or servicing a rear leaf spring assembly who needs the correctly specified mono leaf or multi leaf pad variant to complete the spring-to-axle interface correctly.

The right leaf spring pad kit restores correct cushioning and isolation between the spring pack and the axle perch, eliminates spring contact noise and harshness, and protects the axle perch surface from the accelerated wear that direct spring contact produces.
