REVOLUTION Strut Mount Bushing with Fitting Position Front for 0

Strut mount bushings are the polyurethane bushing kits used to replace worn or deteriorated rubber bushings at the front strut top mount position on applicable solid front axle platforms. On these platforms, the front strut or shock absorber connects to the chassis at the top through a mount position that uses a compliant bushing rather than a bearing-style upper mount, allowing the strut to articulate at the chassis attachment point as the front axle cycles and the wheels steer. The condition of the top mount bushing directly affects the precision and compliance of the strut's upper mount interface, the NVH transmitted from the strut into the chassis, and the freedom of movement at the upper mount position under steering and suspension travel.

As the strut top mount bushing deteriorates, increasing harshness is transmitted through the upper mount into the chassis, and the freedom of movement at the top mount position can be compromised, contributing to strut binding and increased NVH from the front suspension. Renewing it with a correctly specified polyurethane bushing restores correct compliance and isolation at the top mount, eliminating transmitted harshness and ensuring the strut operates freely through its full range of travel at the upper mount position. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Installation guide included.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

The front strut top mount bushing on applicable solid front axle platforms operates under the combined vertical, lateral and angular loads generated by every road input, steering input and suspension articulation event. Factory rubber top mount bushings deteriorate through compression set, heat cycling and the sustained angular deflection that the upper strut mount position is subject to under steering and off-road use, losing their correct compliance over time and transmitting an increasing share of strut-generated road inputs directly into the chassis.

Renewing the top mount bushing with a correctly specified polyurethane alternative restores the correct compliant and isolating interface at the upper strut mount, eliminating transmitted harshness, restoring free strut articulation at the mount position and returning the front suspension to a correctly assembled and correctly operating baseline from which the strut can perform as designed.

Strut Mount Bushing Range

The strut mount bushing range includes:

• Front Strut Top Mount Bushing Kits: Polyurethane bushing kits for the front strut top mount position on the applicable solid front axle platform, restoring correct compliance and isolation at the upper strut chassis mount interface.

Why Purchase Strut Mount Bushings?

Renewing the front strut top mount bushing as part of a front strut or suspension service ensures the upper mount interface is correctly compliant and isolated from the moment the strut is reinstalled, preventing the transmitted harshness and potential strut binding that a deteriorated top mount bushing introduces. The top mount bushing is a low-cost item relative to the front suspension components it supports, and renewing it at the time of any strut-related service is the correct and most efficient approach to a complete front strut installation on the applicable platform.

Installation and Support

The front strut top mount bushing installs at the front strut upper chassis mount position. Installation requires no significant dedicated labor time when completed as part of a front strut or upper suspension service. An installation guide is included with the product. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product fitment for the specific platform and strut mount configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

The strut mount bushing is manufactured from high-strength polyurethane engineered to withstand the vertical, lateral and angular loads, vibration and environmental exposure that front strut top mount positions are subject to in everyday, towing and off-road use on applicable solid front axle platforms. Polyurethane maintains correct top mount compliance and isolation for longer than factory rubber alternatives under the sustained and demanding loads that solid axle platforms generate at the front strut upper mount. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who Strut Mount Bushings Are For

Strut mount bushings are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing front strut replacements and front suspension servicing on the applicable solid front axle platform requiring correct strut top mount bushing renewal to ensure the upper mount interface is correctly compliant and isolated from the moment of installation.
• Truck and 4WD owners renewing the front strut top mount bushing as part of a comprehensive front suspension service on the applicable platform, ensuring the strut operates freely and correctly at the upper chassis mount throughout the vehicle's service life.

The right strut mount bushing restores correct compliance and isolation at the front strut top mount interface, eliminates transmitted harshness from the upper strut mount position, and ensures the strut operates freely through its full range of articulation at the chassis mount.
