NOLATHANE, REVOLUTION Control Arm Kit with Fitting Position Front and Rear, Front

Control arm kits are the complete arm assemblies and geometry-correcting arm sets used to replace worn, bent or geometry-deficient control arms at the front and rear suspension positions. Unlike bushing-only kits that renew the inner pivot compliance of an existing arm, a complete control arm kit supplies the entire arm assembly, pre-fitted with bushings and ball joints where applicable, as a direct replacement for the factory arm. This approach is the correct solution when the arm itself is bent or cracked, when the factory arm design limits available geometry adjustment for lifted applications, or when a performance-oriented arm design with improved geometry is required for the specific application.

The control arm kits range covers HD fixed and adjustable front lower control arm sets, HD adjustable front upper control arm sets, geometry optimized front upper control arm kits for lifted applications across a range of applicable 4WD platforms, fixed offset camber and caster correcting upper control arm sets, OEM Plus front upper and complete lower control arm sets, alloy front lower control arm sets with built-in positive caster and negative camber correction, OEM Plus rear forward and rearward lower control arm sets, front lower control arm left and right side assemblies for applicable passenger platforms, front lower and lower front arm assemblies, a front lower control arm for a specific passenger platform, HD adjustable rear lower trailing arm sets, and a rear trailing arm assembly. Warranties range from limited lifetime to 3 years. Installation guides are available across most products.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

Factory control arms on lifted trucks and 4WDs are designed for stock ride height geometry and do not provide adjustment for the camber and caster changes that a suspension lift introduces. When the front upper control arm pivot geometry is displaced by a lift, the front wheels develop camber and caster errors that a standard alignment cannot correct because the correction range required exceeds what the factory arm and bushing system can deliver. The result is accelerated tire wear, steering wander, reduced front-end stability and an alignment that cannot be set to specification without hardware that addresses the geometry at the arm level.

Geometry optimized and adjustable upper control arm sets address this directly by replacing the factory arm with a redesigned arm that repositions the inner pivot to the correct location for the lifted ride height, restoring caster and camber to a correctly alignable range. Fixed offset camber and caster correcting upper arm sets deliver a predetermined correction built into the arm geometry for the specific lift height range, while fully adjustable sets allow the pivot to be dialed to the exact correction required. For passenger and performance vehicles where the factory arm has developed structural wear or where an OEM Plus specification arm is required, replacement lower and upper arm assemblies restore correct geometry and arm rigidity in a single installation.

• Rear Trailing Arms: Replacement rear trailing arm assemblies for applicable passenger platforms requiring full trailing arm assembly replacement.

Why Purchase Control Arm Kits?

A complete control arm kit is the correct solution when bushing renewal alone cannot address the issue: when the arm structure is bent, cracked or fatigued beyond serviceable condition, when the factory arm geometry limits the available correction range for a lifted application, or when a performance-specification arm is needed for the specific platform and use case. A pre-assembled kit that supplies the complete arm with bushings and ball joints installed eliminates the sourcing and assembly requirements of individual component replacement and ensures the arm is ready to install as a complete, correctly assembled unit.

For lifted truck and 4WD owners, a geometry correcting upper or lower control arm kit is the correct and most direct path to a suspension that can be correctly aligned at the new ride height, eliminating the tire wear and handling instability that an uncorrected lift geometry produces. For shops completing suspension overhauls and crash repairs on applicable passenger and performance platforms, OEM Plus and complete arm assemblies deliver a pre-built replacement unit that meets or exceeds the factory arm specification in a single fitment.

Compatible Vehicles

Control arm kits are compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including:

• Applicable 4WD trucks and SUVs that have been lifted and require geometry optimized, fixed offset or adjustable upper or lower front control arm kits to restore correct camber and caster geometry at the new ride height.
• Applicable 4WD trucks and SUVs requiring geometry optimized upper control arm kits, alloy lower control arm sets or OEM Plus upper arm kits to address lift geometry or standard arm renewal at the front upper or lower position.
• Applicable passenger and performance vehicles requiring OEM Plus complete front lower control arm sets, individual left or right side lower arm assemblies, or rear lower control arm sets for forward and rearward positions.
• Applicable passenger vehicles requiring OEM Plus complete front lower control arm sets or individual side arm assemblies for direct arm replacement.
• Applicable performance and 4WD platforms requiring HD adjustable rear lower trailing arm sets or rear trailing arm assemblies for rear geometry correction or direct arm renewal.

Installation and Support

Control arm kits are designed for direct installation at the front lower, front upper and rear lower or trailing arm positions on applicable platforms. Installation times range from two hours for single arm assemblies to three and a half hours for complete arm sets requiring ball joint, bushing and alignment work. Installation guides are available across most products. Following installation, the vehicle must be presented for a wheel alignment to set camber and caster to the correct specification within the arm's available adjustment range. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection, geometry correction specification and fitment for the specific platform and lift height.

Repair and Upgrade

Control arm kits are manufactured from high-strength alloy and steel materials engineered to withstand the structural loads, road shock and environmental exposure that front and rear control arm positions are subject to in everyday, towing, off-road and performance use. HD specification arms are built to a heavier construction than factory equivalents, providing increased structural rigidity and load capacity for demanding 4WD and off-road applications. Geometry optimized and adjustable upper arm kits are designed to deliver the correct pivot arc for the specific lift height, maintaining correct geometry under sustained suspension articulation without binding or interference.

Who Control Arm Kits Are For

Control arm kits are a practical solution for:

• Lifted truck and 4WD owners requiring geometry optimized, fixed offset or fully adjustable upper control arm kits to restore correct front camber and caster geometry after a suspension lift, enabling the vehicle to be correctly aligned and eliminating the tire wear and handling instability that an uncorrected lift geometry produces.
• Shops completing suspension overhauls, crash repairs and arm replacement on applicable passenger, performance and 4WD platforms requiring OEM Plus or complete arm assemblies for direct replacement at the front lower, front upper or rear lower arm positions.
• Performance and 4WD enthusiasts requiring HD adjustable rear lower trailing arm sets for rear geometry correction and improved rear arm rigidity on applicable performance and 4WD platforms.

The right control arm kit restores correct arm geometry and structural rigidity at every renewed position, enables the suspension to be correctly aligned to specification, and delivers the handling precision, tire wear consistency and suspension durability that a correctly engineered and correctly fitted control arm provides.
