REVOLUTION Camber Bolt Kit for 0

Camber bolt kits are the eccentric alignment bolt kits used to introduce or extend camber adjustment range at applicable suspension mount positions. A camber bolt replaces the standard parallel-shank fastener at the applicable strut, control arm or hub carrier mounting position with an eccentric-shank bolt that, when rotated within the mounting bore, shifts the component's attachment point laterally relative to the chassis, changing the camber angle of the wheel at that position within the range the bolt's eccentricity provides.

Camber bolts are the correct solution when the factory suspension design provides no adjustment range at the applicable bolt position, when the vehicle requires camber correction beyond what standard alignment hardware allows, or when a suspension lift or lowering modification has displaced the wheel's camber angle beyond the range that standard alignment procedures can address. The correct camber bolt is selected by matching the bolt shank diameter to the diameter of the existing mounting bolt and bore at the applicable suspension position. The range covers two shank diameter specifications, each supplied as a complete kit with all required hardware and an installation guide. Warranties range from 3 years to limited lifetime depending on the product.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

Many passenger, performance and light 4WD platforms do not provide dedicated camber adjustment at the front strut or rear control arm mounting positions. When a vehicle that relies on these non-adjustable mount positions develops camber error from suspension wear, collision damage, bushing replacement or a ride height modification, the camber cannot be corrected through standard alignment procedures alone because there is no adjustment available at the hardware level. The result is a vehicle that leaves the alignment rack outside camber specification, wearing its tires unevenly from the moment of the service.

Camber bolts address this directly by converting a non-adjustable mount position into an adjustable one, providing the range of camber correction the bolt's eccentricity allows. The bolt is set to the required camber angle during alignment and torqued in position, where it maintains the setting under normal driving loads for the life of the installation.

Camber Bolt Kit Range

The camber bolt kit range includes:

• Camber Adjusting Bolt Kits, Larger Shank Diameter: A complete camber adjusting bolt kit in the larger of the two available shank diameters for applicable suspension mount positions where the existing mounting bolt uses the larger bore specification.
• Camber Adjusting Bolt Kits, Standard Shank Diameter: A complete camber adjusting bolt kit in the standard shank diameter for applicable suspension mount positions where the existing mounting bolt uses the standard bore specification.

The correct kit is selected by matching the shank diameter to the existing bolt diameter at the applicable suspension mount position on the specific vehicle.

Why Purchase Camber Bolt Kits?

Camber bolts are the most straightforward and cost-effective way to introduce camber adjustment at a previously non-adjustable suspension mount position. For vehicles that have developed camber error outside the factory correction range, or that have been lifted or lowered beyond what standard alignment procedures can correct, installing camber bolts at the applicable position is the only hardware-level solution that allows the alignment to be set correctly at that mount.

The correct shank diameter must match the existing bolt bore at the applicable mount position to ensure the eccentric correctly engages the bore and delivers accurate, repeatable camber adjustment. For alignment shops completing suspension services on applicable platforms where the factory hardware cannot achieve the required specification, having both available shank sizes in stock ensures the correct kit is on hand without a separate parts order.

Installation and Support

Camber bolt kits install at the applicable strut, control arm or hub carrier mounting position by replacing the existing standard bolt with the eccentric camber bolt supplied in the kit. Installation time is approximately one hour. The correct shank diameter must match the bore of the existing mounting bolt at the applicable position. Following installation the vehicle must be presented for a wheel alignment to set the camber to the required specification within the bolt's available adjustment range. An installation guide is included with both products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct shank diameter selection and fitment for the specific vehicle and mount position.

Repair and Upgrade

Camber bolt kits are manufactured from high-strength materials engineered to withstand the suspension loads, road shock and environmental exposure that strut and control arm mounting positions are subject to in everyday and performance driving. The eccentric design is precision machined to deliver accurate and repeatable camber adjustment within the available range, maintaining the set camber angle under normal driving loads when correctly torqued at the applicable mount position.

Who Camber Bolt Kits Are For

Camber bolt kits are a practical solution for:

• Professional alignment shops completing front and rear alignment corrections on applicable passenger, performance and 4WD platforms where the factory suspension design does not provide camber adjustment at the applicable mount position and the required correction exceeds what standard alignment procedures can deliver.
• Performance and enthusiast vehicle owners requiring front or rear camber adjustment at a non-adjustable mount position to achieve negative camber settings for improved cornering performance or to correct camber error introduced by a suspension modification.
• Vehicle owners requiring camber correction following suspension wear, bushing replacement or collision repair on applicable platforms where the factory hardware does not allow the required camber correction to be achieved through standard alignment alone.

The right camber bolt kit converts a non-adjustable mount position into a precisely adjustable one, enables correct camber to be set and delivered to the alignment rack, and maintains the set angle under driving loads for the life of the correctly torqued installation.
