Sway Bar Link with Fitting Position Rear for 2020 Subaru WRX STI Kanrai Edition

Subaru WRX STI Sway bar links are the complete end link assemblies used to replace worn, bent or seized sway bar end links at the front and rear sway bar to suspension connection positions. The sway bar end link is the short rigid link that connects each end of the sway bar to the suspension strut, lower control arm or hub carrier, transmitting the sway bar's torsional resistance force directly to the suspension during cornering and body roll inputs. Unlike bushing-only kits that renew the pivot bushings of an existing link, a complete replacement end link set supplies the full link assembly with new pivot interfaces, eliminating the play, binding, noise and seized hardware that a worn or deteriorated end link introduces.

End link wear and failure is one of the most common sources of the front and rear suspension knocking that everyday vehicles develop, because the link pivot interfaces and the link body itself are subject to constant angular deflection and road shock with every bump, corner and suspension travel event throughout the vehicle's life. A seized or bent link cannot be restored by bushing renewal alone: the correct repair is full link replacement. The sway bar link range covers platform-specific front sway bar end link sets across applicable passenger, performance and wagon platforms, an HD adjustable end link set for 4WD lifted applications, an HD adjustable end link set for applicable passenger and performance platforms, adjustable end link sets in multiple configurations, combined sway bar mount bushing and end link sets in specific bar diameter sizes, a combined mount bushing, bracket and complete end link set for RWD applications, and a universal sway bar link for non-platform-specific applications. Warranties range from 3 years to limited lifetime. Installation guides are available across most products.

Why Upgrade Subaru WRX STI Suspension?

A worn or failed sway bar end link communicates its condition immediately and unmistakably: a persistent knock or clatter from the front or rear suspension over any road imperfection that does not change with braking or cornering load but disappears when the sway bar is loaded up in a corner. The knock comes from play at the link pivot interfaces or from the link contacting adjacent components when its bushings or pivot joints have lost their damping compliance. In severe cases, a seized link that cannot articulate freely through the sway bar's torsional range introduces binding in the sway bar system that compromises body roll control and cornering balance.

Full Subaru WRX STI end link replacement restores the correct pivot interface, eliminates all play and binding at the link positions simultaneously, and delivers immediate, quiet and correctly functioning sway bar force transmission from the first drive. For lifted 4WD and modified applications where the factory link length no longer correctly spans the distance between the sway bar and the suspension with the vehicle at the new ride height, an adjustable end link set provides the range of length adjustment required to set the correct link angle and preload for the specific lift height.

Subaru WRX STI Sway Bar Link Range

The Subaru WRX STI sway bar link range includes:

• Subaru WRX STI Adjustable Swaybar End Link Sets: Adjustable length sway bar end link sets for applicable platforms requiring length adjustment at the end link position across front and rear positions.
• Subaru WRX STI Sway Bar Mount Bushing and End Link Sets: Combined sets supplying both the sway bar chassis mount bushings and the complete end link assemblies for a specific bar diameter in a single purchase, covering the full sway bar service in one kit.
• Subaru WRX STI Sway Bar Mount Bushing, Bracket and Complete End Link Set, RWD: A combined set supplying the mount bushing, mount bracket and complete end link assembly for a specific bar diameter on applicable RWD platforms, completing the full front sway bar mount and link service in a single purchase.
• Subaru WRX STI Universal Sway Bar Link: A universal sway bar end link assembly for non-platform-specific applications where the universal link geometry matches the required connection between the sway bar and suspension on the applicable vehicle.

Why Purchase Subaru WRX STI Sway Bar Links?

Complete end link replacement is the correct and most durable solution for a worn, bent, seized or play-affected end link, addressing the full structural condition of the link assembly rather than renewing only the pivot bushings of a link body that may itself be corroded, bent or fatigued. A complete replacement link with new pivot interfaces eliminates all play, binding and noise at the link positions in a single installation, and for platforms where the link uses an integrated ball joint rather than a bushed eye, full link replacement is the only renewal option available.

Combined mount bushing and end link sets deliver a complete front sway bar service in a single purchase, ensuring the mount bushings and end links are renewed together and the full sway bar assembly is returned to correct compliance and correct link geometry at the same service. For lifted 4WD applications, an adjustable HD link set correctly addresses the geometry change the lift introduces at the end link position, preventing the binding and incorrect sway bar loading that a standard length link produces at a raised ride height.

Installation and Support

Subaru WRX STI Sway bar end link sets are designed for direct installation at the front and rear sway bar to suspension connection positions. Installation times range from under an hour for simple platform-specific link replacements to one hour for HD adjustable and combined mount bushing and link set installations. Adjustable link sets are set to the correct length during installation to achieve the correct link angle and sway bar preload for the specific ride height. Installation guides are available across most products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection, body style configuration and fitment for the specific platform and sway bar system.

Repair and Upgrade

Subaru WRX STI Sway bar end link sets are manufactured from quality steel and alloy materials engineered to withstand the angular deflection, lateral load, road shock and environmental exposure that sway bar end link positions are subject to in everyday, towing and off-road driving. HD adjustable end link sets are built to a heavier construction than standard factory equivalent links, providing increased structural rigidity and load capacity for lifted 4WD and demanding applications where the factory link design is not adequate for the modified ride height. Integrated pivot joints maintain correct link articulation through the full range of sway bar torsional travel without binding or play throughout the service life of the installation.

Who Subaru WRX STI Sway Bar Links Are For

Subaru WRX STI Sway bar links are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing front and rear sway bar and suspension servicing on applicable passenger and performance platforms where sway bar end link wear, play, binding or failure has been identified and full link replacement is the correct repair.
• Lifted 4WD and truck owners requiring HD adjustable sway bar end link sets to correctly set end link angle and sway bar preload at the new ride height after a suspension lift, eliminating the binding and incorrect sway bar geometry that a standard length factory link produces after a lift.
• Anyone completing a full front sway bar service requiring combined mount bushing and end link sets in the applicable bar diameter, renewing both the mount compliance and the end link assembly in a single purchase.

The right sway bar link set restores a correctly articulating, play-free and correctly sized connection between the sway bar and the suspension, eliminates end link knock and binding, and delivers full and immediate sway bar force transmission through every cornering and body roll input.
