NOLATHANE Bushing Press Kit for 0

The bushing press kit is the universal press and pull tool kit used to install and remove suspension bushings across a wide range of bushing OD sizes and arm bore configurations. Correct bushing installation requires the bushing to be pressed squarely and evenly into the bore to the correct depth, an installation completed with improvised tools or a mallet introduces uneven loading at the bushing face, risks damaging the bushing material during installation and frequently results in a bushing that is not fully or squarely seated in the bore.

The universal press and pull tool kit addresses this with a threaded rod and adapter plate system that allows the bushing to be drawn or pressed squarely through the bore under controlled thread-applied force, without impact loading and without requiring a hydraulic shop press for every application. The threaded rod design allows the kit to be used either in a bench press or directly on the vehicle at the arm mount position, covering the wide range of bushing OD sizes in the suspension, chassis and drivetrain bushing range through its selection of adapter plates. Backed by a 1-year warranty. Instruction guide included.

Why Use the Correct Tool?

Incorrect bushing installation is one of the most common causes of premature bushing failure and noise following a bushing service. A bushing that has been driven in at an angle, partially seated, or damaged at the face during installation will not seat correctly in the bore, will not deliver its designed compliance, and may squeak or move in the bore from its first suspension cycle. The press and pull tool kit eliminates these risks by pressing the bushing squarely and evenly into the bore under controlled, thread-applied force that can be applied progressively until the bushing is fully and correctly seated.

For shops completing bushing installations on a regular basis, the tool reduces installation time and effort on every application while ensuring the quality of the installation is consistent across every bushing pressed. For experienced DIY users completing their own bushing installations, the kit provides the correct installation method without requiring a dedicated hydraulic press.

Bushing Press Kit Range

The bushing press kit range includes:

• Universal Press and Pull Tool Kits: A complete threaded rod and adapter plate bushing installation tool set covering a wide range of bushing OD sizes and bore configurations for use with or without a bench press.

Why Purchase the Bushing Press Kit?

A correctly specified bushing installation tool is as important to a correct suspension bushing service as the bushing itself. Improvised installation methods that rely on impact or uncontrolled force produce installation results that are inconsistent, frequently incomplete and sometimes damaging to the bushing or the bore. The universal press and pull tool kit provides the controlled, square and progressive installation force required to correctly seat any bushing in any bore configuration within the kit's applicable OD range, in the workshop or on the vehicle.

For shops and experienced DIY users completing multiple bushing installations across a variety of platforms and bushing sizes, the universal adapter plate selection ensures a single tool covers the full range of applications rather than requiring application-specific tooling for each bushing size.

Installation and Support

The universal press and pull tool kit is used directly as the installation tool for bushing press and pull operations, no installation time is required as a standalone product. The kit can be used in a bench press or on the vehicle with the threaded rod and nut configuration. An instruction guide is included. For additional technical assistance on correct adapter plate selection for specific bushing OD and bore configurations, a dedicated support team is available.

Repair and Upgrade

The universal press and pull tool kit is manufactured from quality steel components engineered to withstand the sustained thread-applied force, repeated mechanical cycling and workshop environment exposure that bushing installation tooling is subject to in everyday professional and DIY workshop use. The threaded rod and adapter plate system delivers controlled, square installation force across the full range of bushing OD sizes within the kit's applicable range, ensuring consistent installation results without the impact loading or improvised tooling that risks damaging the bushing material or the bore during installation.

The universal adapter plate selection allows a single tool kit to cover the wide range of bushing sizes and bore configurations across the suspension, chassis and drivetrain bushing range, replacing the need for application-specific tooling on every bushing service. Backed by a 1-year warranty.

Who the Bushing Press Kit Is For

The bushing press kit is an essential tool for:

• Professional shops completing suspension, chassis and drivetrain bushing installations requiring a universal press and pull tool that covers the full range of bushing OD sizes in the bushing range with a single kit, delivering consistent, correctly seated installations on every application without improvised tooling.
• Experienced DIY users completing their own suspension bushing services who want a correct and controlled installation method that eliminates the risk of bushing damage, incorrect seating and premature failure associated with improvised installation techniques.

The right bushing press kit ensures every bushing is installed squarely, evenly and fully seated in the bore under controlled progressive force, delivering the installation quality that correct bushing performance and service life depends on from the moment of first suspension cycle.
