Bushings with Fitting Position Front for 1996 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution I, II, III

Suspension bushings are the polyurethane bushing kits used to replace worn rubber bushings at every pivot, mount and interface point across the Mitsubishi Lancer's suspension, steering, drivetrain and chassis systems. Every point where two suspension or chassis components connect through a compliant interface relies on a bushing to control the range and stiffness of movement at that joint. From control arm inner and outer positions to sway bar mounts, leaf spring eyes, subframe mounts, differential mounts, body mounts and steering rack mounts, the condition and specification of the bushing at each position directly affects suspension geometry, handling precision, steering response and the NVH transmitted into the cabin.

As factory rubber bushings deteriorate through load cycling, heat, road contamination and age, compliance drifts beyond designed tolerances at each affected position, introducing geometry inconsistency, handling vagueness, increased noise and accelerated wear at adjacent components. The bushings range covers every suspension position across the Mitsubishi Lancer with individual position-specific bushing kits, vehicle master bushing kits that renew every suspension bushing in a single purchase, essential and enhancement kits targeting the highest-impact positions, and universal dimensional kits for non-platform-specific applications. Individual installation guides are available across most products.

Why Upgrade Mitsubishi Lancer Suspension?

Suspension bushing wear is cumulative and progressive. Each individual bushing that exceeds its designed compliance contributes a small amount of additional movement, geometry inconsistency and harshness that adds to every other worn bushing in the system. The result is a gradual but compounding deterioration in handling precision, steering response and ride quality that can be difficult to attribute to any single component until the overall degradation becomes significant.

Renewing Mitsubishi Lancer bushings with correctly specified polyurethane alternatives addresses every worn compliance point simultaneously, eliminating the compounding effect of multiple worn bushings and restoring the suspension to a correctly compliant, correctly located baseline from which every other component can operate as designed. Polyurethane bushings resist load-induced deformation, heat, oil and road contamination more effectively than factory rubber, maintaining their compliance characteristics and geometry control for longer under both every day and demanding driving conditions.

Why Purchase Mitsubishi Lancer Bushings?

Polyurethane bushings address suspension wear at the compliance level, restoring correct geometry and reducing unwanted movement across every renewed position in a single service. For the Mitsubishi Lancer experiencing handling degradation, increased NVH or geometry inconsistency from high mileage or demanding use, bushing renewal is the most direct and cost-effective way to restore the suspension to a correctly operating baseline without requiring component replacement.

Mitsubishi Lancer Master Bushing Kits deliver the most complete renewal in a single purchase, ensuring every suspension position is addressed simultaneously and eliminating the geometry inconsistency that results from renewing only selected positions while others remain worn. Individual position kits allow targeted renewal at specific positions identified through alignment or inspection, providing the flexibility to address specific symptoms without a full vehicle renewal.

Installation and Support

Suspension bushing kits are designed for installation at the specific chassis or suspension mounting position of each product. Installation times vary significantly by kit type and platform, ranging from under an hour for individual position kits to several hours for full Mitsubishi Lancer master kits. Individual installation guides are available across most products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to help confirm correct product selection and bushing specification for the specific vehicle and suspension configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Mitsubishi Lancer Polyurethane suspension bushings are manufactured from high-strength polyurethane engineered to withstand the load cycling, road shock, heat and contamination that suspension and chassis mount positions are subject to in everyday, performance and off-road use. Resistant to oil, fuel, road contaminants and the compression set that shortens the service life of rubber alternatives, polyurethane bushings maintain their compliance characteristics and geometry control for longer, delivering more consistent suspension performance and reducing the frequency of renewal over the Mitsubishi Lancer's service life.

Who Mitsubishi Lancer Bushings Are For

Mitsubishi Lancer Suspension bushings are a practical solution for:

• Workshop technicians performing suspension overhauls and high-mileage servicing trucks, SUVs and performance vehicles.
• Performance and enthusiast drivers upgrading worn bushings to improve handling, steering response and stability.
• 4WD and off-road owners replacing bushings to maintain suspension geometry under load, towing and rough terrain.
• DIY builders and mechanics completing suspension rebuilds using vehicle-specific or universal bushing kits.

The right bushing kit restores correct compliance and geometry at every renewed position, eliminates worn bushing noise and handling degradation, and delivers a suspension system that operates precisely as designed under every driving condition.
