Sway Bar Link Bushings for 2014 Subaru Impreza Base

Subaru Impreza Sway bar link bushings are the polyurethane bushing kits used to replace worn rubber bushings at the upper and lower pivot positions of the sway bar end link. On platforms that use a threaded stud or eyelet-style sway bar link assembly, the bushing at each end of the link provides the compliant pivot interface that allows the link to articulate as the sway bar moves through its torsional range. The condition of the link end bushings directly determines how precisely the sway bar force is transmitted to the suspension, and how much play develops between the link and the bar or the suspension mounting point under load.

As link bushings wear and compress, play develops at each pivot interface, allowing the link to knock and clunk over road inputs and reducing the sway bar's immediate response to cornering and body roll inputs. Worn link bushings are one of the most frequent sources of the front and rear suspension knocking that accumulates on everyday vehicles. The sway bar link bushings range covers platform-specific end link upper and full bushing kits, end link lower eyelet bushings in dimensionally specified standard sizes for applicable platforms, a sway bar link lower bushing kit, a combined end link and hardware set, a front sway bar link pin bush kit, a sway bar link assembly, a combined front and rear swaybar and link bushing set, a sway bar mount bracket and link bushing combined set, rear end link kits, body-style specific and 4WD specific variants, and universal link bushings in dimensionally specified standard and alternative dimensional sizes. Most products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Installation guides are available across most products.

Why Upgrade Subaru Impreza Suspension?

On platforms that use a threaded stud or eyelet sway bar end link, the link end bushings are the only compliant interfaces connecting the sway bar's torsional force to the suspension mounting point. As these bushings wear, the link pivot develops play that allows the link to move at both ends before transmitting any sway bar force, reducing the bar's immediate roll resistance and producing the characteristic knocking over bumps that is one of the most commonly diagnosed suspension noises in a workshop. Because the wear is progressive, the reduction in sway bar effectiveness builds gradually and is often not noticed until the link bushing is renewed and the improvement is immediately apparent.

Replacing worn Subaru Impreza link bushings with correctly specified polyurethane alternatives restores the correct interference fit at each pivot, eliminating link end play and returning the full and immediate sway bar force transmission that correct bushing condition delivers.

Why Purchase Subaru Impreza Sway Bar Link Bushings?

Subaru Impreza Sway bar link bushing renewal is one of the most cost-effective and immediately noticeable suspension services available. The knock and rattle that worn link bushings produce is eliminated the moment correctly specified replacement bushings restore the correct interference at both pivot positions, and the improvement in sway bar responsiveness is apparent from the first corner. For workshops completing suspension services on everyday vehicles, end link bushing kits that address all pivot positions in a single purchase ensure the full link assembly is correctly restored without leaving worn bushings at any position.

Universal standard and alternative-dimensional dimensioned link bushings extend the range to non-platform-specific and aftermarket link applications, allowing the correct bushing to be matched by ID, OD and length for any end link pivot configuration where a platform-specific kit is not available.

Installation and Support

Subaru Impreza Sway bar link bushing kits are designed for installation at the front and rear sway bar end link upper and lower pivot positions. Installation time is approximately one hour per kit for most products. The correct bushing must be matched to the link pivot dimension and platform configuration. Installation guides are available across most products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection and dimensional specification for the specific platform and link pivot design.

Repair and Upgrade

Subaru Impreza Sway bar link bushings are manufactured from high-strength polyurethane engineered to withstand the angular deflection, torsional load and environmental exposure that sway bar end link pivot positions are subject to in everyday and demanding use. Polyurethane maintains its interference fit at the link pivot for longer than factory rubber alternatives under the continuous articulation that end link positions experience with every suspension input, delivering consistent sway bar force transmission and reduced link noise throughout the service life of the installation. Most products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who Subaru Impreza Sway Bar Link Bushings Are For

Subaru Impreza Sway bar link bushings are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing front and rear sway bar and suspension services on applicable passenger and performance platforms requiring correct end link bushing renewal to eliminate link knock, restore correct pivot compliance and return full sway bar effectiveness.
• Vehicle owners replacing worn sway bar end link bushings to eliminate the front or rear suspension knocking that worn link pivot compliance produces and restore immediate and precise sway bar force transmission.
• Shops and DIY users requiring universal standard or alternative-dimensional dimensioned link bushings for non-platform-specific end link pivot applications where the available dimensional specification matches the specific link configuration.

The right sway bar link bushing kit restores the correct interference fit at every link pivot position, eliminates end link knock and delivers full and immediate sway bar force transmission through every corner.
