Control Arm Kit - Lower for 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer ES Sportback

Mitsubishi Lancer Lower control arm kits are the complete front and rear lower control arm assemblies used to replace worn, bent, geometry-deficient or structurally compromised lower control arms at the front and rear suspension positions. The front lower control arm is the primary wheel location link at the bottom of the front suspension, controlling camber geometry, caster influence through its inner pivot arc, and the precise lateral and longitudinal position of the front wheel under all suspension loads. On solid front axle 4WD platforms, the lower arm position on applicable designs is a high-load structural component subject to the bending forces and impacts of sustained off-road and towing use. on applicable FWD and RWD passenger and performance platforms, the front lower arm is a precision geometry component where arm structural condition, inner pivot bushing compliance and outer ball joint or knuckle interface condition all directly influence front wheel geometry consistency and handling precision.

The lower control arm kits range covers HD fixed front lower control arm sets for applicable 4WD platforms, HD adjustable front lower control arm sets with castor and camber geometry correction capability, HD adjustable rear lower trailing arm sets, OEM Plus front lower control arm left and right side assemblies and complete paired sets for applicable FWD and RWD passenger and performance platforms, a platform-specific front lower control arm set, OEM Plus front lower control arm replacement assemblies for applicable passenger platforms, front lower arm assemblies for applicable performance platforms, and an HD front lower control arm set for a further applicable 4WD platform. Warranties range from 3 years to limited lifetime. Installation guides are available across most products.

Why Upgrade Mitsubishi Lancer Suspension?

Mitsubishi Lancer Front lower control arm replacement is the correct repair when the existing arm has been bent or cracked by a hard impact, when corrosion has compromised the arm structure or inner bushing bores beyond serviceability, when the factory arm geometry limits the correction available at the lower arm position after a suspension modification, or when a higher-specification arm construction is required for the specific application. Bushing-only service cannot address structural arm damage, seized or corroded inner pivot bores, or factory geometry limitations. These conditions require full arm replacement to restore correct wheel geometry, arm integrity and suspension performance.

HD adjustable lower arm sets on applicable 4WD platforms address the caster and camber geometry drift that a suspension lift introduces at the lower arm position, providing an adjustable inner pivot that allows correct geometry to be dialed in at the new ride height. OEM Plus arm assemblies for applicable FWD and RWD platforms deliver a correctly specified replacement arm with correct geometry and structural integrity, restoring the front wheel location that a worn or damaged factory arm can no longer reliably provide.

• Mitsubishi Lancer Front Control Arm Lower Arm Assemblies: Front lower control arm assemblies for applicable passenger and performance platforms requiring direct OEM specification lower arm replacement at the front lower arm position.

Why Purchase Mitsubishi Lancer Lower Control Arm Kits?

A complete Mitsubishi Lancer lower control arm kit is the correct and most complete repair path when the arm itself requires replacement rather than bushing renewal alone. The cases where full arm replacement is required are specific and clear: structural damage from impact, corrosion that has compromised bore condition or arm integrity, or factory geometry limitations that prevent correct alignment at a modified ride height. In each case, renewing only the bushings of a compromised arm leaves the primary cause of the suspension deficiency unaddressed.

OEM Plus arm assemblies for applicable FWD and RWD platforms provide a pre-built replacement arm that matches or exceeds the factory geometry and structural specification, ready for installation without requiring individual sourcing of inner bushings or ball joints. Complete paired sets that supply both left and right arms simultaneously ensure the front suspension geometry is renewed symmetrically on both sides, which is the correct approach wherever both arms have reached the end of their serviceable condition together through age or mileage rather than single-side impact damage.

Installation and Support

Mitsubishi Lancer Lower control arm kits are designed for direct installation at the front lower arm chassis inner pivot and outer hub carrier or ball joint positions, and at the rear lower trailing arm chassis and knuckle positions on applicable platforms. Installation times range from under an hour for simple direct-fit assemblies to four hours for complete paired lower arm set installations requiring alignment work following installation. Following any lower arm installation the vehicle must be presented for a wheel alignment to confirm and set front or rear geometry within specification. Installation guides are available across most products.

For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection, platform applicability and geometry correction specification for the specific platform and ride height.

Repair and Upgrade

Mitsubishi Lancer Lower control arm kits are manufactured from quality steel and alloy materials engineered to meet or exceed the structural specification of the factory arms they replace. HD specification arms are built to a heavier construction than factory equivalents, providing increased structural rigidity and load capacity for demanding 4WD and off-road applications. Adjustable inner pivot designs allow front or rear geometry to be set precisely within the arm's available adjustment range, delivering correctly aligned suspension geometry from the first alignment after installation. OEM Plus and OE-style arm assemblies deliver correctly dimensioned front lower arm geometry and structural integrity for the applicable FWD and RWD passenger and performance platforms.

Who Mitsubishi Lancer Lower Control Arm Kits Are For

Mitsubishi Lancer Lower control arm kits are a practical solution for:

• Lifted applicable 4WD truck and SUV owners requiring HD adjustable front lower control arm sets to restore correct castor and camber geometry at the new ride height, enabling the front suspension to be correctly aligned after a suspension lift.
• Professional workshops completing front suspension structural repairs, crash repairs and high-mileage arm replacements on applicable FWD and RWD passenger and performance platforms where the factory front lower arm requires full replacement at one or both sides.
• applicable performance vehicle owners requiring OEM Plus or OE-style front lower control arm renewal to restore correct front wheel geometry and arm structural integrity on applicable platforms.
• applicable 4WD and performance platform owners requiring HD adjustable rear lower trailing arm renewal for rear geometry correction with adjustable inner pivot capability.

The right lower control arm kit restores correct arm geometry and structural integrity at every renewed position, enables the suspension to be correctly aligned to specification, and delivers the handling precision and tire wear consistency that a correctly engineered and correctly fitted lower control arm provides.
