Sway Bar Bracket with Fitting Position Front and Rear, Front, Rear

Sway bar brackets are the chassis mount bracket components that complete the sway bar mount assembly by clamping over the sway bar bushing at the chassis mount position and securing it to the chassis mounting face. The sway bar mount assembly on any vehicle consists of two elements: the bushing that wraps around the bar and provides the compliant interface between the bar and the bracket, and the bracket itself that clamps the bushing to the chassis and holds the entire assembly in the correct position under the torsional and lateral loads the bar generates during cornering. Without a correctly fitted bracket, the bushing cannot function correctly at the mount position, and the bar will shift or work loose regardless of the bushing condition.

The sway bar bracket range covers a universal chassis mount bracket designed to accept a range of sway bar diameters across the applicable range, suitable for aftermarket, custom and universal sway bar installations where the factory chassis bracket is unavailable, damaged or non-existent. Backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Installation guide included.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

Factory sway bar brackets are not commonly serviced items because they are rigid steel components that typically outlast the bushings they support on everyday vehicles. Where the bracket becomes relevant as a replacement or upgrade item is on custom sway bar installations, aftermarket bar upgrades where the bar diameter differs from the factory bar, and on older vehicles where the original bracket has corroded, cracked or been damaged beyond serviceability. In these cases, the universal bracket provides the missing mounting hardware that allows a sway bar to be correctly installed at a chassis position without requiring a platform-specific bracket that may not be available.

A correctly sized bracket that matches the bar diameter range of the installed sway bar and bushing ensures the bushing is clamped with correct and even clamping force across the full bushing width, preventing the bushing from creeping out of the mount under torsional load and ensuring the bar is correctly and stably located in the chassis mount position.

Sway Bar Bracket Range

The sway bar bracket range includes:

• Universal Sway Bar Brackets: A universal steel chassis mount bracket covering a range of sway bar diameters for aftermarket, custom and universal sway bar installations where a platform-specific bracket is unavailable or the installed bar diameter falls within the applicable range. Compatible with the corresponding range of universal sway bar mount bushings.

Why Purchase Sway Bar Brackets?

A sway bar bracket is required wherever a sway bar mount bushing is installed without an existing factory bracket to complete the mount assembly, or where the factory bracket has been damaged or corroded to the point where it no longer clamps the bushing correctly. Universal brackets that cover a range of bar diameters are the practical solution for custom installations, bar swaps and aftermarket upgrades where a single bracket accommodates the applicable bar size range without requiring a platform-specific part number.

When paired with a correctly sized sway bar bushing in the applicable bar diameter, the universal bracket completes the mount assembly with a correctly clamped and correctly located bar at the chassis mount position.

Compatible Vehicles

Sway bar brackets are compatible with:

• Any vehicle, custom build or aftermarket sway bar installation requiring a chassis mount bracket for the sway bar mount position where the bar diameter falls within the bracket's applicable diameter range and a universal or non-platform-specific bracket is required to complete the mount assembly.

Installation and Support

The universal sway bar bracket installs at the sway bar chassis mount position as part of the complete mount assembly alongside the applicable sway bar bushing. Installation requires no significant dedicated labor time as a direct mount component. The bracket must be used with a sway bar bushing in a diameter that falls within the bracket's applicable bar diameter range. An installation guide is included. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct bracket and bushing selection for the specific bar diameter and chassis mount configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

The universal sway bar bracket is manufactured from quality steel engineered to withstand the torsional load, lateral force and environmental exposure that sway bar chassis mount positions are subject to in everyday and demanding use. The bracket maintains correct clamping force on the sway bar bushing throughout the service life of the installation, ensuring the bar remains correctly and stably located in the chassis mount position.

Who Sway Bar Brackets Are For

Sway bar brackets are a practical solution for:

• Custom builders and performance enthusiasts completing aftermarket or custom sway bar installations where the bar diameter falls within the universal bracket's applicable range and a chassis mount bracket is required to complete the mount assembly at the applicable chassis position.
• Vehicle owners and shops replacing a damaged, corroded or missing factory chassis mount bracket on applicable platforms where the bar diameter falls within the universal bracket's applicable range and a platform-specific bracket is unavailable.
• Anyone completing a sway bar upgrade where the replacement bar diameter differs from the factory bar and the original bracket no longer correctly clamps the new bar and bushing at the chassis mount position.

The right sway bar bracket completes the sway bar mount assembly at the chassis position, ensures the bushing is correctly clamped with even clamping force, and keeps the sway bar correctly and stably located throughout every suspension input.
