Fixed Sway Bar Links with Fitting Position Front Axle, Rear Axle for MAZDA RX-8 SE17

SE17 RX-8 Fixed sway bar links are the platform-specific, fixed-length heavy duty replacement sway bar links used to replace worn or failed factory sway bar links at the front and rear sway bar end positions. Each link connects the end of the sway bar to the suspension strut, control arm or hub carrier at the exact geometry required for the specific platform, transmitting the sway bar's torsional load to the suspension to resist body roll during cornering. Factory sway bar links use rubber-bushed or ball joint ends that wear and fail over time, introducing play and knock into the sway bar connection and progressively reducing the bar's roll resistance contribution.

Fixed-length replacement links are precision-manufactured to the correct length for the specific platform at standard ride height, with heavy duty ball joint ends in the correct orientation for each application. SE17 RX-8 Ball joint configurations across the range include horizontal parallel, opposed 90-degree, opposed 67.5-degree, opposed 180-degree, and combined horizontal/vertical designs, each matched to the specific geometric requirements of the mounting positions on the applicable platform. Sold as a pair of two links. All products carry a three-year warranty.

Why Upgrade SE17 RX-8 Suspension?

Sway bar link failure is one of the most common suspension faults diagnosed at service intervals. Factory links on higher-mileage vehicles wear at the ball joint or bush ends until play develops that allows the link to knock and rattle over bumps, and in more advanced cases the link can separate at the end fitting entirely, leaving the sway bar disconnected from the suspension on that side. A disconnected or heavily worn sway bar link reduces body roll resistance significantly during cornering and under lane-change inputs, with the degree of degradation directly proportional to the amount of play in the link ends.

SE17 RX-8 fixed-length replacement links with correctly specified ball joint ends restore the direct, play-free connection between the sway bar end and the suspension, returning the bar's full roll resistance contribution and eliminating the link-related knock and rattle immediately upon installation.

SE17 RX-8 Fixed Sway Bar Link Range

The SE17 RX-8 fixed sway bar link range includes:

• SE17 RX-8 Front Fixed Sway Bar Links: Platform-specific fixed-length heavy duty ball joint front sway bar links at the correct length and ball joint orientation.
• SE17 RX-8 Rear Fixed Sway Bar Links: Platform-specific fixed-length heavy duty ball joint rear sway bar links at the correct length and ball joint orientation.
• SE17 RX-8 Sway Bar Link Assemblies: Complete sway bar link assembly replacements for applicable platforms where the factory link uses a specific end assembly configuration.

All products are supplied as a pair of two links and are specified to the correct length for the applicable platform at standard ride height.

Why Purchase SE17 RX-8 Fixed Sway Bar Links?

For SE17 RX-8 at standard ride height, a fixed-length link at the correct dimension for the specific platform is the most direct, straightforward and cost-effective replacement solution. The correct length is pre-set at manufacture, meaning no adjustment is required during installation, the link fits the application geometry precisely and can be installed without measurement or setting. Heavy duty ball joint ends provide a direct, play-free sway bar connection that outlasts the factory rubber-bushed alternatives in everyday use.

For workshops replacing sway bar links at service intervals, having the correct SE17 RX-8 platform-specific fixed link available ensures every replacement can be completed quickly and accurately, with the correct link length and ball joint orientation confirmed by the product specification rather than requiring measurement or selection from an adjustable range.

Installation and Support

SE17 RX-8 Fixed sway bar links are designed for direct installation at the front and rear sway bar end mounting positions at standard ride height. Installation time is approximately one hour per kit. No length adjustment is required. The correct link is selected by matching the platform and axle position to the applicable product. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to help confirm correct product selection for the specific vehicle and sway bar link configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

SE17 RX-8 Fixed sway bar links are constructed with heavy duty ball joint ends at the correct orientation for each application, engineered to withstand the torsional and angular loads that sway bar link mounting positions are subject to in everyday use. The ball joint design provides a direct, play-free sway bar-to-suspension connection that resists wear more effectively than the rubber-bushed factory alternatives, delivering consistent sway bar response and reduced link noise throughout the service life of each installation. All products carry a three-year warranty.

Who SE17 RX-8 Fixed Sway Bar Links Are For

SE17 RX-8 Fixed sway bar links are a practical solution for:

• Professional workshops replacing worn or failed front and rear sway bar links on a broad range of passenger, performance, 4WD and ute platforms at standard ride height, requiring a correctly specified fixed-length heavy duty ball joint replacement that installs directly without adjustment.
• Vehicle owners replacing worn or knocking sway bar links on a vehicle at standard ride height who require the correct fixed-length, platform-specific replacement link in the right ball joint orientation for their application.
• Anyone experiencing front or rear suspension knocking attributable to worn or failed sway bar link ends requiring a direct, durable and correctly dimensioned replacement that eliminates the noise and restores full sway bar effectiveness.

The right fixed sway bar link restores the direct, play-free connection between the sway bar and the suspension, eliminates link-related knock and rattle and returns the full roll resistance contribution of the sway bar through every corner.
