Sway Bar Link Bushes with Fitting Position Front and Rear, Front Axle, Rear Axle for TOYOTA LEXCEN VR, VS Sedan

VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Sway bar link bushes are the polyurethane bush kits used to replace worn rubber bushes on sway bar link stud assemblies where the factory sway bar link uses a threaded stud design with polyurethane or rubber bush stacks at each end. On these platforms, the sway bar end is connected to the suspension via a threaded stud passing through a stack of bushes and washers that allow controlled angular movement at the link end. Over time the bushes in the stack wear and compress, introducing play and compliance into the link end that reduces sway bar effectiveness and allows the characteristic clunk and knock that worn link bush stacks produce under suspension movement.

Quality VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN polyurethane replacement sway bar link bush kits restore the correct interference and compliance at each link end position, eliminating play and ensuring the sway bar transmits its torsional load to the suspension with precision. Available in both platform-specific profiles matched to the exact bush dimensions required for the specific vehicle, and dimensionally specified universal profiles for non-platform-specific and older classic applications where a matching bush specification is required. Installation guides are available across most products. All products are backed by a lifetime warranty.

Why Upgrade VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Suspension?

On platforms that use threaded stud sway bar link assemblies, the condition of the link end bushes directly determines how precisely the sway bar force is transmitted to the suspension. Worn or hardened link bushes allow the stud to move within the bush bore under torsional load, reducing the sway bar's immediate response to body roll inputs and introducing a characteristic knock that worsens progressively as the bushes continue to deteriorate.

Replacing worn VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN link bushes with correctly specified polyurethane alternatives restores the correct interference fit over the stud and between the washers, eliminating link end play and returning the immediate, precise sway bar response that correct link bush condition delivers. Polyurethane link bushes also resist compression set and environmental deterioration more effectively than factory rubber alternatives, maintaining the correct fit for longer and extending the service interval between replacements.

VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Sway Bar Link Bush Range

The VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN sway bar link bush range includes:

• VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Platform-Specific Sway Bar Link Bush Kits: Polyurethane bush kits dimensioned to the exact outer diameter, inner diameter, length and locator specifications of the sway bar link stud assembly.
• VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Universal Sway Bar Link Bush Kits: Dimensionally specified polyurethane bush kits for sway bar link stud assemblies on platforms not covered by a platform-specific kit, selectable by matching the outer diameter, inner diameter and length to the existing bush dimensions on the specific vehicle.

All kits supply the bushes required for both ends of both links on the applicable platform. The correct kit is selected by matching the platform or by measuring the existing bush dimensions against the available specifications.

Why Purchase VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Sway Bar Link Bushes?

For platforms that use threaded stud sway bar link assemblies, renewing the link bushes is a lower-cost alternative to full link replacement that is appropriate when the stud and washer hardware remains in serviceable condition. Replacing the bushes restores the correct compliance and interference at each link end position and eliminates link end play and knock without the cost of a complete link assembly replacement.

For workshops and experienced DIY users servicing classic and older platforms where the threaded stud link design is common, having the correct VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN platform-specific or dimensionally matched bush kit available allows the link service to be completed in a single session without sourcing a complete link assembly.

Installation and Support

VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Sway bar link bush kits are designed for accurate installation on the sway bar link stud at the front or rear sway bar end mounting position. Installation time ranges from approximately half an hour to one hour depending on the application and number of bush positions being renewed. Installation guides are available across most products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to help confirm correct product selection by platform or bush dimensions for the specific application.

Repair and Upgrade

VR, VS Sedan LEXCEN Sway bar link bushes are manufactured from high-strength polyurethane engineered to withstand the torsional load, angular deflection and environmental exposure that sway bar link stud end positions are subject to in everyday use. Resistant to oil, heat and road contaminants, polyurethane sway bar link bushes maintain their interference fit and compliance characteristics for longer than factory rubber alternatives, delivering more consistent sway bar response and reduced link knock throughout their service life. All products are backed by a lifetime warranty.
