NOLATHANE Alignment Pins and Bushings with Fitting Position Front and Rear, Front, Rear

Alignment pins and bushings are the offset inner bushing kits used to introduce camber and caster correction directly at the front lower control arm or radius arm inner pivot position. Alignment pin and bushing kits install at the inner arm pivot and use a precision offset or eccentric inner bushing design to shift the arm pivot point laterally or longitudinally within the existing bore, introducing a controlled change in camber or caster angle at the wheel without modifying the arm or chassis structure.

Because the correction is introduced at the inner pivot rather than the outer mounting position, alignment pin and bushing kits can deliver camber and caster correction simultaneously on applicable platforms where both angles require adjustment from a single installation. On radius arm platforms in particular, caster correction at the inner pivot is the most direct and mechanically appropriate method of addressing caster loss from a suspension lift, as the inner radius arm bushing position is the geostandard point through which caster is primarily controlled on these suspension designs. All products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty and include installation guides. Installation time is approximately three hours per kit.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

Camber and caster angles are the two front suspension geometry settings most directly affected by suspension modification. When a truck or 4WD is lifted, the raised chassis geometry changes the relationship between the radius arm inner pivot and the axle mounting point, pulling caster in the negative direction and introducing the light steering, front end wander and high-speed instability that characterize negative caster. On lower control arm platforms, a lift or lowering modification that moves the inner arm pivot outside its designed operating arc introduces simultaneous camber and caster error that standard alignment procedures cannot correct without a hardware solution at the pivot point.

An offset inner bushing kit addresses both angles at their geostandard source. By shifting the pivot within the bore at the inner arm or radius arm mounting position, it directly corrects the geometry error introduced by the suspension modification and restores the caster and camber settings that deliver stable, confident and correctly aligned front suspension behavior at the new ride height.

Alignment Pin and Bushing Range

The alignment pins and bushings range includes:

• Front Lower Control Arm Camber and Caster Adjustable Inner Bushing Kits: Offset inner bushing kits for the front lower control arm inner pivot position on applicable platforms, providing simultaneous camber and caster correction within the existing control arm bore to address geometry errors from suspension modification or wear.
• Caster Adjustable Radius Arm Inner Bushing Kits: Offset inner bushing kits for the radius arm inner pivot position on applicable solid front axle truck and 4WD platforms, providing controlled caster correction at the inner radius arm mount to address caster loss from a suspension lift or modification.
• Front Radius Arm Caster Adjustable Inner Bushing Kits: Offset inner bushing kits for the front radius arm inner mounting position on applicable solid front axle platforms requiring caster correction at the inner pivot after a suspension lift.

Why Purchase Alignment Pins and Bushings?

For solid front axle trucks and 4WDs with radius arm suspension, caster correction at the inner radius arm bushing is the mechanically correct approach to addressing caster loss from a suspension lift. The inner pivot is the point through which caster geometry is set on these platforms, and addressing it directly delivers accurate and stable caster correction that is built into the bushing itself rather than relying on adjustable hardware elsewhere in the suspension.

For lower control arm platforms requiring simultaneous camber and caster correction, a single inner bushing kit that addresses both angles at the pivot point reduces the number of separate hardware solutions required and delivers the correction from a single installation at the most geostandardally direct location in the front suspension. Installation takes approximately three hours and all kits include installation guides to support accurate fitment.

Compatible Vehicles

Alignment pins and bushings are compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including:

• Solid front axle trucks and 4WDs on applicable radius arm suspension platforms requiring caster correction at the inner radius arm pivot position following a suspension lift or modification that has introduced negative caster and forward front end wander.
• Front lower control arm suspension platforms requiring simultaneous camber and caster correction at the inner pivot position following a suspension lift, lowering modification or geometry drift from high-mileage bushing wear.
• Any applicable front suspension platform where geometry correction at the inner control arm or radius arm pivot position is the appropriate and most direct solution to measured camber or caster error that cannot be addressed through standard alignment adjustment.

Installation and Support

Alignment pin and bushing kits are designed for installation at the front lower control arm inner pivot or radius arm inner mount position on applicable platforms. Installation time is approximately three hours per kit. The offset inner bushing installs into the existing arm bore in the correct orientation to achieve the required geometry correction before the arm is reinstalled and the vehicle is presented for a wheel alignment. Installation guides are included with all products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection, orientation and fitment for the specific platform and required correction.

Repair and Upgrade

Alignment pin and bushing kits are manufactured from quality materials engineered to withstand the pivot loads, road shock and environmental exposure that front lower control arm and radius arm inner mounting positions are subject to in everyday, off-road and loaded use. The offset bushing design is precision machined to deliver the specific correction angle required for the applicable platform and suspension modification, maintaining the set geometry under sustained driving loads once correctly installed and torqued to specification. All products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who Alignment Pins and Bushings Are For

Alignment pins and bushings are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing suspension lift installations on applicable solid front axle radius arm truck and 4WD platforms requiring caster correction at the inner radius arm pivot to restore correct front end geometry, steering weight and high-speed stability at the new ride height.
• Shops and experienced DIY users completing suspension modifications on applicable lower control arm platforms requiring simultaneous camber and caster correction at the inner pivot, where a single offset bushing kit addresses both geometry angles from one installation.
• Truck and 4WD owners who have lifted their vehicle and are experiencing the light steering, front end wander or high-speed instability that characterize negative caster loss on applicable radius arm platforms, and require a caster correction solution built directly into the inner arm pivot bushing.
• Anyone on an applicable platform requiring inner pivot geometry correction that cannot be achieved through outer mounting position camber bolts or standard alignment adjustment alone.

The right alignment pin and bushing kit corrects camber and caster at the geostandard source of the error, restores correct front suspension behavior at the new or current ride height, and allows the alignment to be set and maintained to specification from the first installation.
