NOLATHANE Control Arms with Fitting Position Front and Rear, Front, Rear

Control arms are the platform-specific front and rear suspension arm assemblies and geometry correction kits used to replace worn, damaged or geometry-limited factory control arms across passenger, 4WD and truck platforms. Each control arm connects the wheel hub carrier or knuckle to the chassis through inner pivot bushings and an outer ball joint, defining the path through which the wheel travels as the suspension cycles. The condition and specification of the arm, its inner bushings and its ball joint directly affect suspension geometry, wheel alignment, steering feel, handling precision and tire wear consistency throughout the vehicle's service life.

The range covers OEM-specification replacement lower and upper control arm assemblies for direct factory replacement, OEM+ enhanced assemblies supplying additional geometry correction as a standard replacement, heavy duty fixed and adjustable front lower and upper control arm sets for performance and off-road platforms, geometry-optimized and fixed offset upper control arm kits engineered to restore correct caster and camber geometry on lifted trucks, alloy lower control arm sets with built-in caster and camber correction, rear trailing arm assemblies and sets, and ball joint dust boot kits for front 2WD and 4WD applications.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

Factory control arms are designed to operate within the vehicle's standard suspension geometry at stock ride height. On lifted trucks and off-road vehicles, raising the suspension displaces the inner and outer pivot points of the control arm beyond their designed operating range, introducing geometry errors at full droop and bump that cannot be corrected through alignment adjustments alone. On high-mileage vehicles, factory arms with worn or deformed inner bushings and degraded ball joint boots allow increased play and compliance that degrades alignment retention, steering response and handling precision with every mile driven.

Replacing factory arms with correctly specified OEM or OEM+ assemblies restores the designed geometry and component condition for everyday and performance-driving platforms. For lifted applications, geometry-optimized or fixed offset upper control arm kits restore the correct caster and camber angles at the new ride height, eliminating the bump steer, caster error and uneven tire wear that lifted factory geometry introduces and ensuring the full range of suspension travel operates within correct alignment parameters.

• Fixed Offset Camber and Caster Correcting Upper Control Arm Sets: Front upper control arm sets with a fixed offset geometry correction engineered to restore correct alignment angles on applicable lifted truck platforms.
• Alloy Front Lower Control Arm Sets: Alloy front lower control arm sets providing additional positive caster and negative camber correction on applicable platforms for improved steering and handling geometry.
• Rear Trailing Arm Assemblies and Sets: Individual and complete rear trailing arm replacements and adjustable sets for applicable passenger and 4WD platforms requiring rear arm replacement or geometry correction.
• Ball Joint Dust Boot Kits: Polyurethane replacement dust boot kits for front ball joints on applicable 2WD and 4WD platforms, protecting the ball joint from contamination and extending service life.

Why Purchase Control Arms?

Control arm replacement addresses a structural-level cause of suspension degradation that cannot be resolved through bushing renewal or alignment adjustment alone when the arm itself is worn, bent or geometry-limited by ride height. OEM and OEM+ replacement arms restore the correct structural and geometric baseline for everyday driving platforms. For lifted trucks, geometry-optimized and fixed offset upper arms deliver correct caster and camber angles at the lifted height, eliminating the alignment errors, uneven tire wear and handling inconsistencies that lifted factory geometry introduces and ensuring the suspension operates correctly through its full travel range at the new ride height.

For shops completing suspension lifts and off-road builds, providing the correct upper control arm kit as part of the lift installation ensures every geometry variable is addressed at the time of the build, rather than after alignment errors and tire wear have already developed.

Compatible Vehicles

Control arms are compatible with a wide range of vehicles, including:

• Japanese 4WD trucks and SUVs requiring upper control arms to correct caster and camber after a lift.
• Japanese and domestic trucks and SUVs needing heavy-duty upper or lower control arms for off-road, towing or performance use.
• Japanese passenger and performance vehicles requiring OEM or upgraded front lower control arm replacements.
• Lifted trucks requiring rear trailing arms to restore proper rear suspension geometry.
• Vehicles needing ball joint dust boot replacement to protect against contamination.

Installation and Support

Control arm assemblies and kits are designed for installation at the front lower, front upper and rear trailing arm positions. Installation times range from half an hour for ball joint dust boot kits to two to three hours for full arm assemblies and sets. Installation guides are available across most products. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to help confirm correct product selection, geometry correction specification and fitment for the specific vehicle, lift height and suspension configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Control arms are manufactured from high-strength steel and alloy materials engineered to withstand the structural loads, road shock and environmental exposure that front and rear suspension arm positions are subject to in everyday, performance and off-road use. Geometry-optimized and fixed offset upper arm kits are precision-engineered to the correct offset for the applicable platform and lift range, ensuring accurate caster and camber correction that can be set and retained through the full suspension travel arc. Polyurethane inner bushings installed in applicable arm assemblies resist deflection and contamination more effectively than factory rubber, maintaining geometry retention for longer under demanding conditions.

Who Control Arms Are For

Control arms are a practical solution for:

• Workshop technicians installing lift kits and correcting suspension geometry on 4WD trucks and SUVs.
• Off-road and overlanding drivers upgrading to heavy-duty control arms for strength, durability and improved handling.
• Mechanics and DIY users replacing worn front lower control arm assemblies on passenger and performance vehicles.
• Lifted vehicle owners experiencing uneven tire wear or handling issues due to incorrect geometry.
• Mechanics and DIY users replacing ball joint dust boots to protect and extend component life.

The right control arm kit restores correct suspension geometry, eliminates arm-induced handling degradation and alignment error, and delivers precise, stable and consistent suspension performance through every mile and every terrain condition.
