Radiator Bushings for 0

Radiator bushings are the polyurethane isolator and mount bushing kits used to replace worn or deteriorated rubber isolators at the radiator-to-chassis mounting positions. The radiator sits in the engine bay through a set of mounting brackets with rubber or polyurethane isolator bushings at the upper and lower mount positions, cushioning the radiator against direct metal contact with the chassis mounting hardware and isolating it from the road and drivetrain vibration that the chassis transmits continuously during vehicle operation. When radiator isolators crack, harden or disintegrate, the radiator contacts its mounting hardware directly, introducing vibration into the radiator core that accelerates wear at the tank-to-core joints and contributes to coolant leaks over time.

The radiator bushings range covers platform-specific radiator isolator kits for applicable performance platforms, and a radiator mount bushing kit for applicable commercial truck platforms. All products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

Radiator mount isolators on classic and high-performance applicable platforms age and deteriorate progressively, hardening and cracking over decades of heat cycling, vibration and road exposure until they can no longer provide the correct cushioning and isolation between the radiator and its mounting brackets. Once the isolators have failed, the radiator operates in direct metal contact with the chassis hardware, transmitting vibration into the core that works against the tank-to-core solder joints and radiator tube joints with every mile driven.

Renewing the radiator isolators with correctly specified polyurethane replacements restores the correct cushioned and isolated mounting for the radiator, eliminating direct metal contact and protecting the radiator core from the vibration-induced wear that deteriorated isolators allow. On applicable commercial truck platforms, radiator mount bushing renewal maintains correct radiator positioning and isolation throughout the working life of the vehicle under the elevated vibration and heat cycling of commercial engine operation.

Radiator Bushing Range

The radiator bushing range includes:

• Radiator Isolators, Standard Profile: Polyurethane radiator isolator kits for the radiator mounting positions on applicable performance platforms fitted with the applicable engine variant, restoring correct cushioning and isolation between the radiator and the chassis mounting hardware.
• Radiator Isolators, Heavy Duty Profile: Polyurethane radiator isolator kits for the radiator mounting positions on applicable performance platforms fitted with the applicable engine variant, where the larger and heavier radiator requires an isolator profile suited to the heavy duty application.
• Radiator Mount Bushings, Commercial: Polyurethane radiator mount bushing kits for the radiator mounting positions on applicable commercial truck platforms, restoring correct radiator mount compliance and isolation under sustained commercial engine operation.

Why Purchase Radiator Bushings?

Radiator isolators are among the lowest-cost components in the engine bay yet their condition directly affects the long-term integrity of the radiator core by determining whether it operates in a correctly cushioned and isolated mounting or in direct metal contact with the chassis hardware. Renewing them at the point of deterioration is the most direct and cost-effective way to protect the radiator from vibration-induced wear without requiring any cooling system service beyond accessing the radiator mounting positions.

For workshops and restorers completing engine bay work and cooling system servicing on applicable performance platforms, including the correctly specified radiator isolators as part of the service ensures the radiator is correctly mounted and protected from the moment the work is completed.

Installation and Support

Radiator bushing kits install at the radiator-to-chassis mount positions as part of radiator removal or engine bay servicing. Installation requires no significant dedicated labor time for most applications. The correct isolator profile must be matched to the engine variant for applicable performance platforms. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct product selection for the specific platform and radiator mounting configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Radiator bushings are manufactured from polyurethane and quality elastomeric materials engineered to withstand the heat cycling, vibration and environmental exposure that radiator mount positions are subject to throughout the vehicle's service life. Polyurethane maintains correct cushioning and isolation characteristics for longer than original rubber and rubber-compound isolators under the sustained heat and vibration that engine bay mounting positions generate. All products are backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Who Radiator Bushings Are For

Radiator bushings are a practical solution for:

• Restorers and workshops completing engine bay work, radiator replacement or cooling system servicing on applicable performance platforms requiring correctly specified platform-specific radiator isolator kits to ensure the radiator is correctly cushioned and isolated in its mounting brackets.
• Applicable classic and performance vehicle owners renewing radiator isolators that have hardened, cracked or disintegrated with age on applicable platforms, protecting the radiator core from the direct metal contact and vibration that deteriorated isolators allow.
• Fleet maintenance teams and service shops completing cooling system servicing on applicable commercial trucks requiring radiator mount bushing renewal to maintain correct radiator position and isolation under commercial engine operation.

The right radiator bushing kit restores correct cushioning and isolation at the radiator mount positions, eliminates direct metal contact between the radiator and the chassis hardware, and protects the radiator core from the vibration-induced wear that deteriorated isolators introduce throughout the vehicle's service life.
