NOLATHANE, REVOLUTION Body Hardware

Body hardware kits are the fastener and hardware sets used to supply or replace the bolts, washers, sleeves and associated hardware at the body mount positions on applicable body-on-frame applicable trucks and SUVs. The body mount fasteners are the structural connection points that secure the body to the frame through the body mount bushing assembly, and their condition is as important to a complete body mount service as the condition of the bushings themselves. On older applicable trucks where the body mounts have not been serviced for many years, the factory fasteners are frequently corroded, seized, stretched or missing, making correct hardware renewal an essential part of any body mount bushing installation.

The body hardware range covers a body mount bushing fastener and hardware kit supplying a complete set of the fasteners and associated hardware required for a body mount bushing installation, and a body mount hardware kit supplying the hardware components required for the applicable body mount service on a second applicable platform. Both products are backed by a 3-year warranty.

Why Upgrade Suspension?

A complete body mount bushing service is only as effective as the fasteners that secure it, and on body-on-frame trucks and SUVs the structural connection between the body and frame depends on every fastener at every body mount position achieving correct clamping load against a correctly installed bushing. When the original body mount fasteners are reused in a corroded, seized or stretched condition, the renewed bushing cannot achieve its designed compression at the mount, and the body to frame connection is compromised regardless of how new the bushing material is.

Renewing the body mount fasteners and associated hardware as part of every body mount bushing service ensures the bushing assembly is installed at correct torque, with correct clamping load and correct structural integrity at every mount position throughout the service life. On older applicable platforms in particular, where the original hardware has been exposed to road environment and corrosion for many years, fastener renewal is the difference between a body mount service that performs correctly from installation and one that requires repeat correction within a short service interval

Why Purchase Body Hardware?

A body mount bushing installation completed with corroded, stretched or incorrectly torqued fasteners will not achieve the correct clamping load at the mount position, and the bushing will not be correctly compressed and seated regardless of its material quality. Correct hardware renewal ensures the body mount bushing assembly is installed with the correct fastener condition at every mount position, delivering the correct clamping load, correct bushing compression and correct structural integrity at each body to frame mount point from the moment of installation.

For shops and experienced DIY users completing body mount bushing services on applicable truck and SUV platforms, having the correct hardware kit on hand alongside the bushing kit ensures the full service can be completed in a single session without stopping for individual fastener replacement.

Body Hardware Range

The body hardware range includes:

• Body Mount Bushing Fastener and Hardware Kits: A complete fastener and hardware kit supplying all required bolts, washers, sleeves and associated hardware for a body mount bushing installation on the applicable truck or SUV platform.
• Body Mount Hardware Kits: A hardware kit supplying the required body mount hardware components for the applicable truck or SUV platform body mount service.

Compatible Vehicles

Body hardware kits are compatible with:

• Applicable body-on-frame trucks and SUVs requiring correct body mount fastener and hardware renewal as part of a complete body mount bushing installation.

Installation and Support

Body hardware kits supply all required fasteners and hardware components for installation at the body mount positions on applicable platforms. Installation requires no significant dedicated labor time as standalone hardware components, and is completed as part of the body mount bushing service. An installation guide is included with the body mount hardware kit. For additional technical assistance, a dedicated support team is available to confirm correct hardware kit selection and fitment for the specific platform and body mount configuration.

Repair and Upgrade

Body mount hardware kits are manufactured from quality materials engineered to withstand the structural clamping loads, road vibration and environmental exposure that body mount fastener positions are subject to throughout the vehicle's service life. Correctly specified hardware ensures the body mount bushing assembly achieves the correct clamping load at every mount position and maintains the structural integrity of the body to frame connection throughout the service life of the renewed installation.

Who Body Hardware Is For

Body hardware kits are a practical solution for:

• Professional shops completing body mount bushing services on applicable body-on-frame trucks and SUVs requiring correct fastener and hardware renewal to ensure the bushing installation achieves correct clamping load and structural integrity at every mount position.
• Experienced DIY users completing body mount bushing installations on applicable platforms where the factory fasteners are corroded, seized or stretched beyond reuse, requiring a complete hardware kit to finish the service correctly.

The right body hardware kit ensures every body mount fastener position is renewed with correctly specified hardware, delivers correct clamping load and bushing compression at every mount point, and completes the body mount service with the structural integrity the installation requires.
